General Comments What initially caught our interest was that you can tailor make your holiday through 'modules' which gave our trip an independent yet organised feel to it. This made our trip very different to 'organised tours' we have done before. HelenWe could pick and choose what we wanted to do and weren't stuck with the same group the whole time. We were on our own but you guys helped with the major stuff, and having modules helped to plan a holiday around the tourist stuff. Charly For us, it was one in a life time trip. Going to Peru for 3 weeks was an amazing experience; one that run smoothly from day one... We were at times impressed by how seamless the operation felt, and the whole trip was a joy, combining pre-booked visits with independent travelling. Just perfect for us, some travel experience without the rough edges. Lourdes I was emailing lots of companies; Peru Travel Plan seemed to have a slightly more personal touch... Suzanne changed itineraries, juggled things around, had a knowledge of the area and went to great lengths to find exactly what we wanted and the price was great. Rickshaw will be first on my list for adventure travelling in the future...Robert |

Local staff and service in PeruThe local guides were great. We were met promptly at the airport who was efficient and helpful giving us a little tour on our way to the hostel in Lima. The whole thing ran alarmingly efficiently with tickets being dropped off before we began to worry about our next move. HelenFirst class - all our mini-trips were well organised and went to schedule. Everyone turned up as promised and gave us all the correct tickets. Exactly as expected. Carole Very good. Alan, our trouble shooter in Peru was excellent in dealing with our queries. Wai-ling The whole experience of using your partners was great, the meeting at the airport was good and the voucher system worked perfectly. Robert |
Holiday HighlightsThe sights of Cusco and the Sacred Valley were outstanding but the pleasure of our trip was built on excellent organisation. In the time that was available to us this enabled us to enjoy everything without having any concerns. ChrisVisiting Machu Picchu - beautiful scenery. Julie The scenery /sights / culture / food / people such a unique combination. Wai-ling Peru is a beautiful scenic country and the people are extremely welcoming and helpful. All arrangements went according to plan and local guides/drivers were excellent. Michele It is so difficult to pick a best part as most of the holiday was great. We did enjoy the Salar adventure in Bolivia very much. Nichola |

This is just too difficult to say. It was like having 5 different mini-holidays in one. Desert to Pacific islands to mountains to lakes to condors - each one had its own high points. Perhaps the best part was meeting so many local people (I can speak a little Spanish which helped enormously) and fellow travellers of so many different nationalities on our various mini-expeditions!! Holy week celebrations in Arequipa and Puno fantastic. Carole All excellent so difficult to say but probably Machu Picchu and rain forest. Machu Picchu and Inca TrailMachu Picchu was definitely the highlight of the attractions seen, but overall I was very impressed with Peru as a country and a place to visit and experience. JuliaMachu Picchu was astonishing – not many places in the world are utterly unique, but this is one. Definitely one of the top five places we’ve seen in our year of travelling. Matthew The Inca Trail was everything I had hoped for, with breathtaking views around every corner. We were particularly pleased that the company with which you organised the Inca Trail seemed to look after its porters well, and provided them with better equipment than some of the other groups we saw. RobertWhen travelling to a country like Peru, on a trip involving lots of travel and different hotels, I would tend to regard delays and hiccups as almost inevitable. However, our two week trip went without a hitch, which I can only put down to excellent organisation by Peru Travel Plan and your partners in Peru.
